New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
Hi, I’m proud to call Vandalia my home. As someone who grew up here, lives here, and is raising a family in Vandalia, I care deeply about the future of our city. I’ve had the privilege of serving on local boards and committees, and I’m eager to take that experience to city council.
With my background in technology and leadership, I’m committed to bringing fresh ideas and a results-driven approach to our city council. I believe in fostering common-sense development, improving infrastructure, and revitalizing our downtown area to make Vandalia an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. I’m passionate about supporting local businesses, enhancing community services, and ensuring that all voices are heard in city decision-making.

PLATFORM
I’m focused on practical solutions for Vandalia’s growth and improvement. My priorities include enhancing infrastructure, supporting local businesses, and revitalizing our downtown to create a vibrant space for residents and visitors. I believe in a government that is transparent, accountable, and truly responsive to the needs of the community. I want every voice to be heard - whether you're a long-time resident or new to the city - and I will make sure your concerns and ideas are brought to the table. My goal is to help Vandalia grow sustainably while preserving the values that make our city special, all while keeping community members at the heart of every decision.
Aging Infrastructure
I'll push for a long-term, prioritized plan to repair & modernize our infrastructure, without losing sight of fiscal responsibility.
Rising Utility Rates
I will push for a full, transparent review of our utility rates and fight for real relief for residents.
Downtown Revitalization
I support a revitalization plan that reflects community input and grows responsibly over time. Let’s make downtown a place where people want to live, work, and visit.
Parks & Recreation
Parks and community spaces bring us together. I’ll support investments that maintain and improve these spaces so residents and families can enjoy safe, quality recreation close to home.
Transparent Government
I believe in a local government that listens, explains, and includes residents in decision-making. I will advocate for changes to how information is shared with the residents.
Public Safety & Quality of Life
A strong community depends on feeling safe. I’ll work to support our first responders, strengthen neighborhood engagement, & ensure public safety resources maintain appropriate levels & match our growth.
Your Voice Matters
At the heart of everything I stand for is this: every resident should have a voice in shaping Vandalia’s future. I’ll always listen, be transparent, & work collaboratively to find solutions with other councilmembers, residents, and city leadership with the goal to make our city stronger.
Responsible Growth & Development
Growth is important for Vandalia, but it has to be responsible. Developments should fit the character of our neighborhoods and surrounding areas, reflect the voices of our residents, and not place a burden our existing infrastructure.
